Eerder had ik zelf een VPS server. Het is opzich wel leuk maar men moet echt aan alles zelf denken. Goede antivirus/mallware scanner installeren, goed beveiligen tegen hackers, extra modules kopen voor control panel om je server gezond te houden etc etc. Als men alles optelt ben je buiten je energie ook veel geld kwijt aan licenties. Zodoende ben ik via aanraders SiteGround tegen gekomen. En heb de pakket GoGeek genomen. Het is al ondertussen 1 maand geweest en ik kan zeker een goede ervaring schrijven over deze website. Klantenservice is zeker 10 waard. Alleen het is wel jammer dat de SSD Storage (30 GB) capaciteit veel te laag ligt (voor mij). Maar voor een normale gebruiker zal dat veel te hoog liggen waarschijnlijk. Wat ik ook jammer vond is als men Wordpress installeerd moet men ook rekening houden met de nieuwste updates van Wordpress dat het veel CPU in beslag neemt. Indien men veel inlogt op de website (voor developers) kan het zo binnen paar dagen uw limit overschrijden. Maar gelukkig zijn er goed opgeleide klantenservice dat dit zo voor je kan regelen om een heartbeat-control plugin te installeren om de probleem te voorkomen. Als 1 maand klant (webdesigner) ben ik voorlopig zeer tevreden. Ik zal u zeker aanraden!
