Dont bother with these guys. Yeah getting your domain on there is easy enough, same as any other provider to be honest. How about you try and get you email hosted? Good Luck. You cant find it until you get the shits and click their little advice button, then it doesnt understand email hosting, gives you 3 options, Tech support, General support and billing support. You'll find Email hosting in one of them.. YES, it has email hosting, as an option, but the bot doesnt understand 'email hosting' as a question. Yeah transferring away from these clowns.

VentraIP aquired Net Origin who had great service and prices.
Transition was not smooth with dns and then eventually SSL expiry all because considered as not hosted by VentraIP though was hosted with NetOrigin so not sure why considered 3rd Party if they had taken over these services!
Support is slow to respond unless your pay $4.95 to escalate your ticket for an outage! Took social media post to get a response.
All in all is working OK now, but not impressed with the pricing or customer service. Net Origin was much much much better.
When all comes up for renewal going to look around and see what else I can find, might even resort to go back O/S for hosting again as I used to before I changed to NetOrigin for service in the same time zone.
Not sure what all the negative feedback is about. The staff moved my website onto their server and setup my account for free. They set up all my domains and emails for free. The speeds I am getting are much better than any other host I have used. The staff are actually Australian and respond to any questions in a prompt time.
I try to move my clients to a decent server when I can. Ventra just bought out Net Origin - who ran a super slow server here in Australia. My Singapore server with A2 hosting is over 10 times faster and I'm in Australia. I do security and website maintenance behind the scenes for larger web companies accounts and I knew Ventra to be okay - but slow like many Oz providers. I guess the buyout was a slow match made in heaven. Now that one client's site has moved to Ventra - it literally doesn't work. Plugins crash. Nothing will update. I'm redirecting the domain to my server. It's literally quicker to build a new website than get a response from Ventra (who on the phone tell us that only now they are moving all sites to SSD cards - all the rage back in 2012). I suggest changing your DNS settings to ns1.anywhereelse.com and checking site speeds. Ranking 3899 out of 4031 says it all.

Poor Service during the swop from Netorigin which was Taken over by Ventraip last month
It has been over a week now without our Enquiry link not working, even the Page did not work for a couple of days. They keep saying its the website thats wrong but its been working fine for months before it was transferred to Ventra impossible to get a straight answer
I have been using reseller hosting systems for 20 years and have a lot of experience with hosting websites and creating web based applications, I have a bought a VPS with these guys and they recently acquired my usual host Netorigin of which I host many client sites. The VPS was purchased to host some of our custom PHP and MYSQL applications.
Their technical support team have limited experience and are not really interested in helping people customers at all, they suggest solutions that don't work or don't apply to the problem at hand. They request that you pay for urgent tickets and I have no problem with that if they provided solutions but even if you pay for a ticket they just pay you lip service and do nothing helpful.
They are not interested in solving critical issues with the systems they provide and if they introduce a problem because of their "upgrades" they are not interested in helping you fix them. A recent upgrade broke many of my customer emails and they were not interested in fixing the issue or helping work out a solution.
DO NOT HOST YOUR BUISINESS WITH VENTRAIP STAY AWAY!
f you are currently hosting your services with them move away now before they ruin your business, already I have lost some very important hosting clients and VentraIP don't care. They are a dog with fleas.
I don;t understand the negative feedback - I have been with them for 10 years, and I have had nothing but brilliant service from them. Always helpful and knowledgeable, easy to contact via phone or online, and always quick to respond. Example, I just logged a ticket re https redirect at 11.18am, support responded at 11.22, explaining what the issue was, two options on how to fix it, and a confirmation that they actually did the fix for me! This isn't an isolated incident - happens every time (in my experience). Another example was my website was down, I logged a request, and they sorted the issue for me - they figured out it was an issue with contact form plugin, so they disabled it for me, and suggested for me to reinstall it when I got a chance. I was away at the time, so most important was that my site needed to be be back up, which they did in quick time for me. I have a heap of these experiences with them.. and I am VERY pleased with their service! Highly recommended!
Never has this been my experience with them, they are not interested in solving anything hard than a password reset. They have cost me clients and one of my largest web hosting customers with their ineptitude.
Once again the website is not loading properly and everything is running slow. I was on a premier account paying over $300 a year and I've moved out just now because I just had enough. I don't want my clients to call me every month to say 'Hey mate, your website is down and I can't place an order'.
Sorry to say but Ventra IP has gone down hill and there is no consistency. Support tickets are answered by literally people with no experience in web hosting service. You ask them 'Can you fix this problem?' and they answer back with 'You can login to your cpanel to fix that problem'. If I knew what the problem was exactly and how to fix it than why on earth would I open a ticket? Its almost like you're being trolled.
I am a recent "customer" of VentraIP due to their acquisition of NetOrigin and my experience has been the same as yours. They are simply one of the worst businesses I have dealt with and have cost me clients after only 3 weeks.
