Warning to all webmasters. Stay away from Truehost.This hosting company Truehost cloud is the most useless unreliable company .

This hosting company offers cheap and very bad services. Very bad customer services. They terminate customers account anytime without notice. Very poor unreliable hosting .

Several bad experiences.

Last year domains of one of the client I managed was about to expire just one month left , I paid for renewal this useless Truehost failed to pay ICAN to renew that domain until that domain expired and After several lawsuit threat it took Truehost almost 2months to claim this domain back .This is an eccommerce website which was already thriving and making good sales. The user was out of business for that 2month.

They also terminate users account anytime they feel like without informing the user.no top hosting in the world does this. Godaddy hostgator namecheap hostmetro google cloud none will ever do such. Hosting companies will notify users first if their is any issue and give the user time to fix it and it user fail to do so they will then take necessary actions.

6 month ago the same Truehost terminated a user account without notifying the user.the user cannot download his backup files from the server because they will block access to cpanel and admin page. Just because they claim the user website was hacked. Imagine if it was a bank or a top company and they need to get most recent backup files.it means they will be doomed.

Another bad experience is the Truehost and most of its staffs are fraudsters and scammers. Once you sign up with them. They indirectly access your cpanel, create several emails and start using those emails to spam several people. You can login to your cpanel and just find out that several emails accounts you didn’t create are showing up on your mail section under your subdomains.

Another bad experience is this . They can move you to any server anytime without notifying you. Their staffs are inexperienced and incompetent staffs, when they move your files to other servers in most cases your site will be offline forever if you are not careful because they don’t even know how to move files properly. 404 error will show up while visitors are trying to access your page. They won’t point files to correct folders in most cases.

Please stay away from this hosting. This is an honest review

So my website has been suspended since december of 2021.

3 Month later i decided to make payment and truehost kept asking me to make payment for the previous 3 months which my account was suspended saying payment has to be my monthly basis.

my account was suspended and they are asking me to pay for the suspension. Am i paying for the time or for the services i'm using (which i didn't use for 3 months).

looks like pure robbery to me

This international domain registration hosting company with a south african website and pricing is falsely advertising their domain pricing as the cheapest in SA with incorrect pricing of R100 for initial registration for a .com


Hit the cart its R129 with renewal R169.

Spoke to help desk and all they said was they were going to change the website and weren't interested in honouring their marketing or discounting it in any way to honor their website pricing. Don't fall for the snakes peeps. keep clear of this "NOT so Truehost"

went to porkbun.com instead, who I've used previously - much better
