I'm with them since 2010 and I'm very happy. They offer a great support, available 24/24 and 7/7. They try to help you find the best solution when you have issues with your website. Sure, they sometimes advise you to upgrade to a dedicated server but when you explain that you financially can't, they help you find the bugs, issues on your website to optimize the use of the resources (but honestly, they do it because they're great, it's not their job). A final tip: You can find on the net, discount codes up to 20% when you order anything on planethoster. Just for example PHA-20 or PHA-WORLD20. But you can find others. There are plenty of websites where you can find these codes.
Bought 10 days ago an email address via planet hoster, was never able to send any email to an hotmail address, support was good from Canada, crap from France, but am left at the end with a product that doesnt work...I am looking now to transfer my email address somewhere else...thanks Planethoster for selling me a piece of crap!!
I just use their entry level hosting package, but it works well for me. It is up and running at all times and I don't have to do anything when it does go down (which is rare). They seem to monitor their systems well so they can respond to issues fast. This is the third hosting company I have used in France and I'd say it is the best one.
I went with their dedicated servers and while I am 100% happy with the actual service, it does seem a bit over priced. I will continue to pay it because everything else is so good. I'd say when you weigh all the factors, they are one of the best options for hosting in France, especially for higher end sites that need a nice dedicated server.
